Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre (MRNC) is seeking passionate and skilled Practitioner to join our new Families Together Family Preservation program based in Grafton at the New School of Arts Neighbourhood House.
Families Together is an intensive, family-focused preservation program supporting children, young people and families to remain safely together through strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.

About the Role
As a Practitioner, you will:
Work intensively with families in their homes and communities
Undertake assessment, case planning and coordinated support
Support parents and carers to strengthen safety, wellbeing and parenting capacity
Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting requirements
Participate in supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development
Qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, Community Services or related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families
Demonstrated commitment to strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
Ability to build respectful and professional relationships with children,
families and stakeholders
Experience in assessment, case planning and coordinated family support
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Organised, reflective and accountable approach to practice
Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Current Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the Northern Rivers
Current NSW Working With Children Check
National Criminal History Check
Ability to work flexible hours between 6:00am and 8:00pm when required
