This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale operation where no two days are the same. With multiple hospitality outlets, dining areas, bars, gaming facilities and entertainment spaces, you'll be part of a professional management team responsible for ensuring the venue delivers an exceptional experience to its members and guests.

The Opportunity

As the Venue Operations Manager (Duty Manager), you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the venue during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong team leadership and smooth operational performance across all areas.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be highly visible, supporting your team, engaging with customers and ensuring the venue continues to operate to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate hospitality teams across the venue
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries professionally
- Oversee food and beverage, gaming and general venue operations
- Ensure compliance with RSA, gaming and venue procedures
- Coach,



mentor and support team members
- Maintain high presentation and operational standards
- Liaise with department managers to ensure the smooth running of each shift
- Respond confidently to changing priorities in a busy environment
- Promote a positive, qualified and customer-focused culture

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills
- The ability to remain calm, organised and decisive in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Current RSA Certificate
- Current Victorian Gaming Licence (or the ability to obtain one)
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
