As a Client Relations Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting tenants and applicants, helping them access and sustain secure housing. This is a people‑focused role that combines professional tenancy management with empathy, problem‑solving, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for applicants and tenants, providing informed advice, support, and guidance.
- Tenancy Management: Manage a portfolio of tenancies, including allocations, sign‑ups, inspections, and ongoing tenancy support.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with advocates, support services, and partner organisations to help clients sustain long‑term housing outcomes.
- Community Impact: Support low‑to‑moderate income earners across the New England North West region to achieve housing stability.
About You
- Relevant Qualifications or Experience: Certificate III in Social Housing (or willingness to obtain), or experience in welfare, property management,
community services, or a customer‑focused role.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to manage sensitive or complex conversations while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Mandatory Requirements: A current Driver’s Licence, a transparent Criminal History Check, and willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check.
- Community Commitment: A genuine interest in contributing positively to the Armidale community.
