Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Welder on a full time permanent role based in Dandenong South to join our collaborative and dynamic team.

As a Qualified Welder, you will facilitate efficient and effective production and processing functions of the business, in a safe, accurate and timely manner. This is a terrific opportunity to join a fast-paced and creative team with an exciting pipeline of projects coming up. This position would suit an individual who has a strong work ethic and a desire for interesting, diverse, and challenging work.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and Manufacturing Manager.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The successful applicant will have drive and ambition and has the skillset mentioned below:

- Welding Qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience




- Must hold any recognised welding qualification
- Ability to pass in-house weld test procedures to AS 1554.1 SP
- Experience working with heavy fabrication of Structural Steel & working with Stainless Steel would be an advantage
- Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
- Ability to effectively work unsupervised
- Ability to work overtime during the week & on Saturdays.
- Must have Australian work rights as this is essential for this position

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

- Full-time from Monday to Friday – 38 hours - AFTERNOON SHIFT
- Afternoon shift hours are 3pm-11pm
- Fixed-term contract position with an opportunity to extend
- Competitive industry rates + penalties

Remuneration to be in line with experience.
