The Company

Daisy's Garden Supplies is a Victorian family-owned business supplying building, garden, and landscaping materials to Melbourne, Geelong, and beyond for nearly 45 years. Our team of over 200 people works across 9 stores and 4 production sites from Pakenham to Torquay. We value integrity, hard work, and customer service, and we back our people with teamwork, clear expectations, and practical support. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Front End Loader Operator / Yard Person to join our Laverton team on a casual basis.

What you will do:

As a Yard Person you will be responsible for loading customer orders into vehicles, as well as unloading deliveries. Your key responsibilities will be:

- Load customer orders and unload deliveries using a front end loader, forklift and manual handling
- Provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate traffic movement and flow in the yard




- Maintain yard stock levels, presentation and cleanliness
- Perform daily equipment checks

This role does require manual handling and repetitive lifting of heavy weights.

Our Laverton store is open Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Saturday 7am - 3:30pm.

Full availability preferred to cover casual shifts across all operating days including weekends.

What you will bring:

The successful applicant will be someone who:

- Can form friendly and positive customer relationships and has good communications skills
- Has attention to details & accuracy
- Is comfortable working outdoors with multiple sorts of mobile equipment
- Must hold a recognised front end loader ticket
- Must hold LF class forklift licence
- Preferably has experience loading trucks, trailers & utes
- Is physically fit enough to meet the manual handling requirements
