Check Measurer/Detailer/ Installation manager

Nobby Kitchens is seeking an experienced Check Measurer/Detailer/Installation Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with project management responsibilities, ensuring the seamless delivery of our kitchen and cabinet solutions from measurement through to installation. Based in Pymble, NSW, you will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This position plays a crucial strategic role in our operations, bridging the gap between our design team, manufacturing facility, and customer installations.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting precise on-site measurements and surveys of customer spaces to ensure accurate specifications for kitchen and cabinet manufacturing
- Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications that accurately reflect customer requirements and site conditions
- Liaising with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and any specific site constraints or considerations
- Quality checking completed work to ensure all pieces meet our high standards before delivery and installation
- Managing and overseeing installation projects, coordinating with installation teams and ensuring work is completed to schedule and specification
- Troubleshooting any issues or discrepancies that arise during the installation process
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and records for all measurements, specifications, and installations




- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicating effectively with our design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure all projects run smoothly
- Providing expert advice to customers on design options, material selections, and installation timelines

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a check measurer, detailer, or installation manager within the kitchen manufacturing industry
- Strong technical knowledge of kitchen and cabinet design, materials, and installation methods
- Proficiency in CAD software or similar technical drawing programmes
- Excellent measuring and mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Experience managing installation projects and coordinating teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, designers, and tradespeople
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges on-site
- A commitment to health and safety standards and best practices
- Preferably,



qualifications or certifications in carpentry, cabinet making, or construction project management
- Experience with kitchen and bathroom design software is advantageous
