About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced partnerships, sponsorship, businessdevelopmentor account management professional who enjoys building relationships, creating commercialopportunitiesand contributing to the success of a purpose-driven organisation.

The Partnerships Manageris responsible foridentifying, developing,implementingand managing commercial relationships that create value for Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), itsmembersand the profession. This includes sponsorship, partnerships, advertising, commercialcollaborationsand other strategic relationship opportunities, ensuring all activities align with SPA's Commercial Relationships Framework, strategic priorities, professionalstandardsand organisational values.

As part of the role,youwillbeleading sponsorship and exhibition sales for SPA's Annual Conference, building strong relationships with sponsors and exhibitors, andidentifyingyear-round commercial opportunities across events, education,marketingand member engagement initiatives.

Reporting to the Chief, Marketing and Communications, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to develop partnerships that deliver meaningful member value while supporting SPA's long-term sustainability and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing SPA's partnerships and sponsorship strategy
- Identifying,securingand managing commercial partners aligned with SPA's strategic priorities




- Acting as thecentral pointof contact for sponsorship,partnershipand commercial collaboration opportunities across theassociation
- Negotiating partnership agreements and overseeing delivery of contractual commitments
- Leading sponsorship and exhibition sales for the SPA Annual Conference
- Managing sponsor and exhibitor relationships from acquisition through to delivery and renewal
- Collaborating with internal teams toidentifyand develop partnership opportunities that support organisational objectives
- Creating and managing advertising, sponsorship and commercial packages across SPA's products, services,eventsand communication channels
- Developing innovative commercial initiatives that enhance member value and contribute to organisational sustainability
- Monitoring partnership performance, revenueoutcomesand stakeholder satisfaction, and preparing reports and recommendations asrequired

About you:

You'rea commercially minded relationship builder who enjoysidentifyingopportunities, developing strategicpartnershipsand delivering results. You are confident engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, have strong negotiation skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.





You bring excellent communication skills, commercialacumenand the ability to balance revenue generation with organisational values and member needs.

- Minimum5years’ experience in partnerships, sponsorship, business development, account management or a similar commercial role
- Demonstrated ability to build, negotiate and maintain successful stakeholder relationships
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience within a membership association, not-for-profit, skilled association or health sector environment
- Conference sponsorship and exhibition management experience
