We're a quick-scaling multi-trade services group in Melbourne's south-east, operating across several trade divisions with a substantial workforce and a lean back-office team. Growth has been rapid. The next chapter is about running that growth well — tightening how we operate and building the systems and rhythm that let us scale without losing what makes this a good business to work in.

We're looking for a General Manager who makes change happen, learns a business quickly, and leads with the numbers.

Who you are

You drive change and see it through. You've restructured operations, brought divisions into line, and introduced better ways of working — and you've taken people with you rather than leaving them behind. Embedded, not just launched.

You learn fast. Drop you into an unfamiliar division, supplier arrangement, or problem and you get to the heart of it quickly. You ask sharp questions, pick up how things actually work on the ground, and you're making good calls sooner than most.

You lead with numbers. A P&L;, a cash flow forecast, a job-margin report — these are how you understand the business and where you point it. You set targets people can see, track against them, and you're comfortable holding a room accountable to what the numbers say.

What you'll be doing

- Leading the day‑to‑day running of the group across our trade divisions, working closely with division managers.
- Designing and driving change — process, systems, structure,



and culture — through to embedded.
- Building operational discipline: reporting rhythms, accountability, and the visibility to make decisions early.
- Owning daily financial oversight — cash flow, margins and the divisional numbers — so the business is steered by current data, not last month’s.
- Getting real value out of modern field‑service, accounting and CRM systems so the tools serve the work.
- Developing our people — coaching managers, lifting capability, creating clear paths for the team.
- Partnering with the Directors on strategy, growth, and the commercial side of the business.

What you'll bring

- A track record leading change in a multi-site or multi-division business, ideally in trades, construction, or a comparable operational environment.
- Strong commercial and financial fluency — you read the numbers and you know what to do about them.
- The ability to get across a complex business fast.
- Real people‑leadership. You set direction clearly, you’re honest with your team, and people follow you through the hard parts.
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace. Things move here, and plans change.
