You'll initially work alongside our current HR Officer before she commences maternity leave in November, providing you with a fantastic handover and onboarding experience. This is not a temporary backfill role – due to our continued growth, this is a newly created permanent position, and both roles will continue when she returns.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse generalist HR role and wants to be part of a business where they can make a genuine impact.

Main responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding with departmental managers
Creation and maintenance of all HR related documentation including but not limited to letters of offer, employment agreements, position descriptions, induction and training documentation, salary changes and HR related policies and procedures
New starter onboarding / inductions, training requirements, departure processes and performance reviews (working closely with departmental managers).
Supporting performance review cycles and tracking completion.
Acting as the first point of contact for general HR enquiries.
Assisting with weekly payroll processing across multiple business entities including approved leave input and timeclock verification ready for the finance department to process
Supporting HR compliance, policies and employment legislation.
Assisting with workplace health and safety, workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
Coordinating employee engagement initiatives, events and wellbeing activities.
Ensuring employees at Dandenong South and other branches have all available stationery needs including IT items
Provide support & assistance for facility maintenance items (predominately the head office location)
Preparing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records.
Providing general administrative support to the HR function and wider business as required.
We're looking for someone who is:
Previous experience in a Human Resources Officer or HR Administration role.
A strong background in end-to-end recruitment, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and work closely with departmental managers throughout the recruitment process.
A sound understanding of Workers' Compensation and Return to Work coordination
A good understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing HR documentation and maintaining employee records.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Why Join Us?
Permanent full-time chance with long-term career growth.
Join a supportive and collaborative HR team.
Be part of a successful and growing Australian business.
Supportive leadership and opportunities for ongoing development.
