Buildpoint Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team in Melbourne, VIC on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed architectural drawings and designs to support the successful delivery of our clients' construction projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details to a high standard
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet all technical and regulatory requirements
- Incorporating changes and updates to drawings based on feedback from stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the design process
- Adhering to project timelines and deadlines to deliver work on schedule
What we’re looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson, preferably in a consultancy or construction environment
- Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to produce high-quality architectural drawings, including 3D renders - YOU MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
- Demonstrated proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit software for comprehensive architectural drafting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret design specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Valid work visa or permanent residency status to work in Australia
