Southern Septics and Liquid Management Australia is a growing business providing commercial and domestic liquid waste, wastewater treatment plant and septic servicing, maintenance, installations, drainage solutions and liquid waste disposal services across Gippsland and the South East Victoria region.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

We are not looking for "just a receptionist" or "just a scheduler".

We are looking for someone who enjoys being the central point of connection between our customers, office and field team. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems, cares about delivering outstanding customer service and takes genuine ownership of their role.

You’ll work closely with our supportive Team, including our Manager, office staff, plumbers and directors. You’ll play an key role in keeping our operations running smoothly while supporting the continued growth of our business.

About the Role

This position combines Scheduling, Customer Service, Administration and Reception, while also providing support to accounts across key financial administration tasks.

You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and the person responsible for ensuring work flows efficiently from the first phone call through to invoicing and completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing incoming customer enquiries via phone and email





- Scheduling septic pump outs, servicing, maintenance and assisting in installation bookings

- Planning efficient daily runs to maximise productivity and customer service

- Creating and managing job information within our operating systems

- Ensuring job details are accurate and complete for prompt invoicing

- Working closely with our operators and plumbers to coordinate daily workloads

- Keeping customers informed of scheduling changes and job progress

- Identifying and recording additional work opportunities highlighted by field staff

- Supporting in our accounts department with day-to-day financial administration under guidance and oversight

- Preparing customer invoices for pump-outs, servicing, maintenance and installation work

- Assisting with accounts administration, including processing supplier invoices and paying accounts under an approved authorisation structure

- Assisting with insurance, WorkCover and other business administration requirements

- Supporting our Team with general administration and business improvement initiatives

This isn’t just a task-based administration role.
