Position Purpose
The Client Care Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and enhancing current client relationships, as well as fostering new ones, supporting frontline care staff, and assisting with operational tasks that contribute to service excellence. This role handles relationship management, staff auditing, and lifestyle event coordination to enrich the experience of aged care clients and their residents.
*Please note that this is a part-time position, requiring three days per week. The advertised salary is pro rata, and the working days are flexible.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with aged care and home care clients.
- 2. Conduct regular client visits , phone check-ins, coffee catchups and meetings to ensure service satisfaction and address any concerns.
- 3. Assist in coordinating Aktrapid-branded merchandise and client gifting materials, including care packages, for use during client care visits.
- 4. Staff Support and Audits: Conduct spot checks on field staff (nurses and support workers) during shifts to assess performance and adherence to standards.
- 5. Lifestyle and Engagement Activities:
Assist with organising and delivering lifestyle events and social activities for aged care residents in client facilities.
- 6. Partnership Strategy Alignment: Work closely with the Management to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual agreements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships effortlessly, whether with clients, staff, or external partners. A genuine, bubbly personality that makes it easy to connect with people and leave a lasting positive impression.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while also being a reliable and supportive team player. You thrive when managing your own time and responsibilities but understand the importance of collaboration in achieving shared goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and creating solutions that benefit all parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in a client or customer-facing role is essential. Previous experience in healthcare, aged care, community services, or staffing will be highly regarded.
- Qualifications in healthcare, community services or a related field are advantageous.
Current Australian Driver’s Licence is essential (daily travel is required).
