Make a lasting difference as a Case Worker, helping children stay safe and families thrive through intensive, family-centred support.

About The Role:

As a Case Worker in the Families Together program,you'llsupport families experiencing complex challenges to create safer, stronger futures for their children.You can be based at our Redfern or Campsie office and work across Southeast Sydney, the Inner West and the Sutherland Shire, providing intensive, child-centred, strengths-based support to families through regular home visits. Using culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice,you'llbuild trusted relationships, complete strengths-based assessments, develop family-led plans, and coordinate practical, community and therapeutic supports. Working alongside families and partner services,you'llhelp reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and improve safety and wellbeing so children and young people can remain safely connected with their families.You'llalso enjoy flexible work arrangements, a team-oriented team, and ongoing career development.

Duties of the role will include:

- Managing a caseload of 7-9 families
- Engaging families through home visits, assessment, and planning, including assessment of strengths, needs and risk and safety planning
- Developing and implementing project plans, coordinating referrals and supports to meet identified needs
- Providing practical support, coaching, and guidance to strengthen parenting capacity, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Delivering services in line with organisational frameworks, policies,proceduresand child wellbeing outcomes
- Work in partnership with children, young people and families,



internal and external stakeholders

About You:

You will have experience and skills in the following:

- University qualifications in social work or equivalent
- Experience in the community services or child and family sector is highly regarded
- Strong commitment to child-focused practice with a thorough understanding of child protection, legislation, and risk management
- Experience working with vulnerable and diverse children and families, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Empathetic, supportive, and able to make sound judgments to protect children's rights and wellbeing
- Willingness to learn and apply feedback to improve clinical practice
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
