About the role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with Drug and Alcohol experience to join our well-supported multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant.

In this role, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and contribute to the safe, high-quality delivery of care for patients presenting with alcohol or drug-related concerns within Bathurst Health Service. You will support community clinicians, generalist health professionals and local GPs by offering specialist guidance, consultation and coordination to strengthen care pathways and improve outcomes.

Working within a agile and diverse team, you will play an integral part in delivering a broad range of services through the Bathurst Drug and Alcohol Service - Chifley Clinic, including Opioid Treatment, Stimulant Treatment, Psychosocial Services, Addiction Medicine, Cannabis Clinic and Substance Use in Pregnancy and Parenting programs. This role offers the prospect to apply your clinical expertise in a structured, collaborative environment while making a meaningful impact on individuals and families affected by substance use.

This job-share position operates during weekday day-shift hours, with week one covering Thursday and Friday and week two covering Wednesday to Friday.
