Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
Support the planning and implementation of educational programs in line with EYLF
Observe, document, and contribute to children’s learning and development
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Maintain active supervision at all times and ensure children’s safety and wellbeing
Follow all service policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and engaging learning environment
Participate in team meetings, reflections, and continuous improvement processes (QIP)
Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s progress and wellbeing
Support daily routines including meals, rest, toileting, and transitions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating workplace for all children

Skills & Experience:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
- Sound knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standard
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible, reliable, and proactive
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Child Protection training
- Full working rights in Australia
