Senior Service Electrician | Compliance & Residential Maintenance | Company Vehicle

JV Trade Services is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Service Electrician to join our team for an immediate start.

We are a professional trade services business delivering electrical services across residential maintenance, rental compliance, real estate and project-based works throughout Melbourne.

This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with customers and understands the importance of getting compliance work completed correctly the first time.

You’ll be joining a growing business with strong systems, a supportive office team and a focus on delivering a high standard of service to every customer.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing a range of service and compliance-based electrical works, including:

- Residential service work, maintenance and fault finding
- Rental electrical compliance inspections, testing and rectification works
- Electrical safety checks and reporting
- Switchboard upgrades and safety upgrades
- General electrical installations and repairs
- Identifying non-compliant issues and providing practical solutions
- Completing accurate job notes, photos, test results and compliance documentation
- Working with homeowners, tenants, real estate agents and our internal team to deliver a smooth customer experience

What We’re Looking For

- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence




- Strong experience in residential/service electrical work
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Sound knowledge of electrical compliance requirements and Australian Standards
- Experience with rental compliance, safety checks or rectification works
- Professional presentation and strong customer communication skills
- Reliable, organised and quality-focused
- Ability to work independently and take pride in completing work to a high standard
- Current driver’s licence
- White Card

Highly Regarded

- Experience working with real estate/property managers
- Experience completing electrical compliance reports
- Experience using job management systems/apps
- Data, communications or air-conditioning experience
- Strong understanding of customer service expectations
