We are seeking a SAA Accredited A Grade Electrician to join the team at xTechs Renewables Pty Ltd commencing in September 2026. This is a full time position based in Scoresby, VIC 3179. As an accredited SAA A Grade Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar, battery and offgrid systems Australia‑wide. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that all work meets the highest safety and quality standards, contributing directly to the success of our growing renewable energy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- Install, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and regulations
- Perform maintenance and fault‑finding on electrical installations and renewable energy systems
- Conduct safety inspections and testing of electrical work to ensure compliance with all industry standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
- Work with renewable energy systems including solar panels, battery storage, and related electrical infrastructure
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken and materials used
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety legislation and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and technical matters
- Contribute to continuous improvement of work practices and safety standards on site

What we're looking for

MUST LIVE IN AUSTRALIA!

- Valid SAA Accreditation as an A Grade Electrician
- Current electrical licence issued by the relevant Victorian regulatory body




- Proven experience working on commercial and/or industrial electrical installations
- Demonstrated experience with renewable energy systems, particularly solar and battery storage solutions
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, and related codes)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Competency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to health and safety practices and procedures
- Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training in renewable energy technologies
- A valid driver's licence is desirable for site‑based work
