Mocka is a design led, on trend furniture brand, making great design accessible to everyone, without ever compromising on quality or style. Founded in 2007 as an online nursery brand, we've grown into a trusted name for every room and life stage. As we continue building our physical retail presence in Australia, we're seeking an experienced, hands on Assistant Store Manager to support the launch of our Mornington store, help deliver an exceptional in store experience, and play a key part in setting the standard as we scale.

How you will add value:

- Support the Store Manager in leading the daily operations and ongoing success of our Mornington store
- Help build, coach, and motivate a high performing store team, reinforcing a culture that reflects the Mocka brand
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that brings the Mocka journey to life instore
- Step up to lead the store in the Store Manager's absence
- Support sales performance and help the team achieve KPIs and commercial targets
- Help maintain brand standards across merchandising, visual presentation, inventory management, and operational excellence
- Work alongside head office teams as new tools, systems, and retail initiatives are piloted instore

About You:

- An experienced retail leader with a strong track record in high performance store environments
- Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, ideally within a growing or scaling retail brand
- A natural coach who supports the development of a confident, high performing team
- Willing to become an expert in furniture assembly, styling,



and educating customers to support an incredible experience
- A problem solver who enjoys ambiguity and thrives in a building phase
- Customer obsessed, operationally strong, and commercially minded
- Inspired by and physically able to take on a hands on role, including extended periods on your feet, lifting, manual handling, unpacking, and building furniture
- A team player who wants to help build a brand's retail presence from the ground up
