Our client is seeking an experienced and motivatedProject Coordinatorto join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a diverse range of engineering, maintenance, operational and capital projects that support productivity, safety, environmental performance and technological advancement across our mining operation.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll take projects from concept through to completion, working closely with site departments, contractors and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

About the Role

- Coordinate and deliver maintenance, engineering and operational projects from scoping through to implementation.
- Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, specifications and capital submissions.
- Manage procurement, contractors and internal resources to achieve project objectives.
- Lead project implementation activities, including construction, installation and commissioning works.
- Investigate and evaluate new technologies, equipment and process improvements.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting and expenditure tracking.
- Work collaboratively across all site departments to identify and develop project opportunities.




- Ensure all projects comply with our clients safety, environmental and operational standards.

About You

- Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines or Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience coordinating or managing projects in mining, industrial, manufacturing or heavy industry environments.
- Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.
- Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
- Experience using project management software, including Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience with Pronto or similar maintenance management systems (desirable).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous).
