We are seeking a compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to provide assistance and care to an individual with a disability in Wagga Wagga that needs assistance with personal care and daily living. The Role

Shift Structure : 5 hours per week - Tuesday 09:30am-11:30am, Wednesday 11:15-2:15pm. Environment: Personal care/ Daily living support Type: This could be a casual role or as a contractor.

Rate: L2 P1 - $45.28 Cert 3 in individual supports or community service L2 P2 - $46.70 Cert 4 or higher in individual supports or community service

Responsibilities

- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to our client, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.



Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to create and implement individualized care plans. Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support. Personal care and physically fit to perform manual handling where required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with our client and their family. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing situations.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Current First Aid and CPR certification.
