Job Description

Based in Geelong Victoria, Thornton Engineering is seeking to recruit experienced and qualified Welders / Metal Fabricators at their location in Corio VIC. The successful applicants will :

- Have a willingness to work
- Be punctual and responsible
- Strong attention to detail

This role will include but not limited to:

- Heavy wall pipe fabrication
- Plate fabrication
- Structural steel fabrication
- Preparation, cutting, welding, grinding, drilling

Skills & Attributes:

- Cert III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience as a welder or related trade
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard
- Safety first attitude
- Carbon and stainless-steel experience essential
- Proficiency in MIG, TIC and Arc welding

Salary range is $75,000-$105,000 dependent on qualifications and experience Multiple Full time Positions available Applications open on 24th July 2026 and closes on 24th August 2026
