About the Position

An initial 6 month opportunity (potential for ongoing depending on business needs) is available for a Management Accountant, part‑time or full-time (4 or 5 days per week).

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this role is hands‑on across core accounting functions, providing essential financial support to both the team and the broader organisation.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- closing month end accounts including preparing / posting month‑end journals and project‑related financial reporting.
- analysing monthly financial results, delivering insightful management reports, and reviewing performance through actual‑vs‑budget variance analysis.
- Balance sheet, corporate credit card, and control account reconciliations.
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate recording of additions, depreciation, disposals and impairments.
- Prepare timely financial and management reports, contribute to financial statement preparation, and support internal and external audit activities.





What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience

You will hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and be CA/CPA qualified or currently studying. With 5+ years’ experience in management or financial accounting, you will bring strong analytical, reconciliation and reporting skills, along with advanced Excel capability. Experience using Copilot in Excel for analysis and/or automating processes would be advantageous. You’ll be confident communicating complex financial information to non‑finance stakeholders. Experience within Superannuation or the broader Financial Services sector is highly regarded. Experience with Oracle Netsuite is preferred.
