AbouttheRole

In this roleyou will provide psychological assessment, formulationandintervention services for consumers with complex mental health and forensicpresentations.

This rolecombines therapeutic practice with clinical leadership, consultation,supervision and service development within a forensic mental health service.

Working as partof a multidisciplinary team, you will applypsychologicalexpertiseto comprehensive assessment,treatmentplanningand risk management, supporting recovery whilepromoting community safety.

In addition todirect clinical work, you will provide consultation,educationandsupport to treating teams across North Queensland, contributing to workforcecapability and the delivery of contemporary forensic mental health practice.The role also offers opportunities to provide supervision, mentoring andclinical leadership while contributing to service development within aninnovative forensic mental health service.
