And how do we make sure that, as Psyche Mental Health Centre grows, we hold onto the things that matter most to us?

We're entering an exciting new chapter at Psyche MHC, and we're looking for an experienced psychologist who wants to help shape what comes next.

Over the past several years, we've grown into a mental health practice across two locations in Moonah and Sorell. We have a wonderful team of clinicians, plenty of ideas, and a real desire to keep finding better ways to support our clients and our communities.

Now we're ready to strengthen our clinical leadership and bring someone into the team who wants to be part of building the next version of Psyche MHC.

Senior Psychologist | Clinical Lead

The role

We're looking for a Senior Psychologist | Clinical Lead who brings experience, sound clinical judgement and, just as importantly, warmth and approachability.

This isn't a role that takes you away from clinical work. You'll maintain your own caseload, shaped around your interests and strengths, while having protected time for clinical leadership built into your working week.

You’ll be someone our clinicians can turn to when they need another experienced person to think something through with. Someone who can support complex clinical decision‑making, provide secondary triage when needed, and bring calm, thoughtful clinical leadership to the everyday realities of practice.

But we also hope you’ll bring ideas.

Maybe there’s a service you’ve always wanted to develop. A group you think should exist. A better way of doing something. An area of practice you’re passionate about growing. We want Psyche MHC to be a place where good ideas don’t just stay as good ideas.

Over time, the role may include:





- Supporting complex clinical decision-making and secondary triage
- Providing supervision to psychologists at different stages of their careers
- Helping shape new services, groups and programs
- Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement
- Supporting the skilled growth of clinicians across our team
- Helping us build clearer career pathways for good clinicians who want to grow without having to leave
- Bringing your own ideas about how we can do more good

We don't expect one person to walk through the door already doing all of this. We want to shape aspects of the role around the strengths, experience and interests of the right person.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced psychologist who is clinically grounded, approachable and generous with their knowledge.

Someone who enjoys being the person a colleague can come to and say, 'Can I run something past you?'

Someone who can hold complexity without making everything complicated.

Someone who values good relationships, collaboration and a workplace where people genuinely know and care about each other.

You might already be working in a senior clinical or leadership position. Or you might be an experienced psychologist who has reached the point where you're ready for something more, but don't necessarily want to become a traditional manager or leave clinical work behind.

Experience providing supervision would be valuable, but we're equally interested in someone who wants to grow further in this space.

Most importantly,



we're looking for someone who wants to contribute to something bigger than their own caseload and have a real voice in what Psyche MHC becomes next.
