Role Description We need an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a diverse SME client portfolio. You will handle complex tax matters and provide trusted advice using our fully cloud-based tech stack. This position offers a direct path to leadership within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage compliance: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and SMSF accounts.
- Advise clients:



Deliver strategic tax planning and business advice directly to SME owners.
- Ensure accuracy: Navigate complex tax laws, including Division 7A, CGT, and trust structures.
- Mentor staff: Guide junior accountants and review their compliance work.
- Build relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for client queries.

What We Look For

- Qualifications: Current CA or CPA registration is essential.
- Experience: 7 to 10 years in an Australian public practice setting.
- SME expertise: Proven track record handling small-to-medium business clients.
- Tax knowledge: Deep understanding of Australian tax compliance, legislation & tax structures.
- Tech skills: Proficiency with Xero, MYOB
