We're a Melbourne-based, family-owned fashion accessories business with a passion for creating stylish, high-quality products that our customers love. As our brand continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Production Assistant to play a key role in bringing our collections to life.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment, enjoys building strong supplier relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional products from concept through to completion.

About the Role

Working closely with our management team, you'll coordinate the end-to-end production process across our fashion accessories range, ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You'll be the vital link between our Melbourne office and our overseas manufacturing partners, managing production timelines, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring every detail is executed with precision.

As this role involves daily communication with suppliers and manufacturers in China and Hong Kong, fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (spoken and written) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the production process from sampling through to final delivery.
- Manage production schedules and critical paths to ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaise daily with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.
- Monitor production progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
- Coordinate samples, approvals, and product development.
- Assist with supplier negotiations, costing, and purchase orders.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.




- Track shipments and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Work closely with management to deliver products that align with our brand vision and customer expectations.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, solutions-focused, and passionate about the fashion industry.

You’ll bring:

- 2–3+ years' experience in a Production Assistant, or similar fashion production role.
- Experience within the fashion or accessories industry (highly regarded).
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
- A strong understanding of the fashion production cycle and supply chain.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
