The Opportunity

We are looking for a casual Medical Assistant to join our Norwood practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experienced team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients. This role will provide support with reception and administrative duties while providing a superior customer service experience to patients and healthcare practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and take action to replenish stock before depletion.
- Clean and sterilise instruments as required and take measures to ensure instruments are maintained and replaced when no longer in working order.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Document all patient care activities
- Provide a high level of customer service as the first point of contact for patients
- Provide admin support

Our Ideal Candidate

To excel in this role, you'll possess:





- Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant, Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed
- Flexibility with availability
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Capacity to multi-task and prioritize
- Working With Children Check Clearance
- Evidence of routine immunization serology
- Eligibility to work in Australia required

This role will provide support with reception and administrative duties while providing a superior customer service experience to patients and healthcare practitioners.
