We currently have2 x PERMANENT Sugar Bagger (forklift driver) roles available atthe Condong mill. 12 hour roster, mix of day and night shifts. Must be handy on the forklift and reliable.
The role:
Operate packing floor equipment to produce 1.2 ton and 25kg bags of packaged sugar under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and direction of Packaging and Warehouse Supervisor. This involves operating and controlling processes and procedures for:
- Monitoring product quality and following critical control point (CCP) release procedure
- Operating 25kg and 1.2 ton bagging lines.
- Storing and dispatching product
- Cleaning and general labouring tasks
To be eligible for these positions, applicants must have:
- Current forklift ticket with experience (essential)
- Commitment and positive attitude to safety and culture
- Ability to identify and deal with problems involving machinery and control systems
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to contribute to and work as part of a successful team
- Willingness to follow directions
- Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to contribute to risk assessment and procedure development and review
- Sufficient physical fitness, sight and hearing
- Willingness to accept interruptions to normal routine
- Flexibility to work rotating shift roster and be available for overtime
