Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team at our Mulgrave site!

As a Maintenance Technician, you will keep our site running safely and efficiently. You will repair andmaintainmaterial handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution machinery. Your quick response to breakdowns and implementation of preventative maintenance will minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Working on-site allows you to respond quickly to machinery issues whileidentifyingopportunities for long-term improvements. In this role, you will develop your technical skills and support the growth of junior team members.

This is a full time, permanent night shift role (10 hour, 4 day shifts, including one weekend day). The role is entitled to annual leave and penalty rates where applicable.

- Complete proactive and preventative maintenance on siteequipment
- Diagnoseand repair equipment faults in a live warehouseenvironment
- Implementlong-term solutions to reduce futuredowntime
- Usespecialized tools to maximize equipmenteffectiveness
- Followand promote Health & Safety standards

What you'll bring:

- Formal Trade Qualification:
- Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license , OR
- Certificate III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner).



Alternatively, an equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience with preventative maintenance systems
- Proficiencyin fault detection within Material Handling Equipment
- Technical ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulatory standards

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with computer maintenance systems (CMMS), sortation machines, maintaining/configuring bar code scanners or print and apply machine
