MindRight Clinical Psychologists - Sydney NSW
1d ago , from Illawarra Mercury Job Board
Mindright Clinical Psychologists has been part of the Bondi Junction community since 2007. We see children, adolescents and adults across the breadth of clinical presentations - anxiety, depression and mood disorders, trauma, ADHD and executive functioning, eating disorders and disordered eating, school refusal and school-related distress, perfectionism, life transitions and adjustment - alongside couple and family work. Referrals come predominantly from GPs, psychiatrists and school counsellors who have worked with us for years, which means a steady, well-matched flow of work.
Clinicians here are able to work to their strengths and shape a caseload around the presentations they find most engaging.
What we offer
Our values are simple: authenticity, trust, loyalty and quality. In practice that means clinicians who are treated as the experienced professionals they are, and a practice that invests in the conditions for good clinical work - full administrative and intake support, five well-appointed consulting rooms including a garden balcony room, established practice management, assessment and documentation systems, and genuine collegial contact with a secure, long-tenured group. Every clinician at Mindright is an independent contractor building their own practice within ours, with real autonomy over how they work - and we back that with the infrastructure, referral base and peer support to make it sustainable.
We're also actively interested in supporting clinicians who want to develop group programs or a particular specialty area
What you'll bring
Qualifications & registration
- Registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist, or a Clinical Psychology Registrar working towards endorsement
- Current professional indemnity insurance, AHPRA registration, and (for Registrars) an approved Board-recognised supervision plan
Clinical & treatment skills
- Grounded in evidence-based, gold-standard assessment and formulation, translated into clear, individualised treatment
- Competent across core therapeutic modalities (e.g. CBT, ACT, schema, DBT-informed approaches), matching the model to the client
- Skilled in structured outcome measurement and using data to guide and review treatment
- A genuine interest in eating disorders is highly valued; familiarity with evidence-based frameworks (e.g. CBT-E, FBT) is a strong advantage, though not essential
- Open to developing and co-facilitating group programs, or willing to build these skills with our support
- Comfortable with a varied adult (and where relevant, adolescent) caseload across mood, anxiety, trauma and related presentations
- Able to manage clinical risk competently and to seek consultation or refer on appropriately
