Bridgestone Select Doreen is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our energetic team in Doreen, VIC. As a Motor Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. What you'll be doing

- Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections to diagnose mechanical faults and identify service requirements
- Performing routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups
- Repairing and replacing mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and braking systems
- Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues
- Following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures to ensure work quality and compliance
- Documenting all work completed and maintaining accurate service records
- Communicating with customers regarding repair recommendations and progress updates
- Maintaining a safe and clean workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative workshop culture

What we're looking for

- A recognised automotive mechanical qualification or equivalent trade certification
- Substantial experience working as a Motor Mechanic in an automotive service environment
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, engines, transmissions,



and electrical components
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools
- A valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
- Willingness to stay current with automotive industry developments and new vehicle technologies (preferred)
