Your new role
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, your new role will see you becoming the key link between Sales, the Pre-Delivery Team and external body building companies, ensuring every truck progresses seamlessly from customer order through to final delivery.
Supporting the Dandenong dealership exclusively, you'll enjoy a focused local remit whilst coordinating multiple projects at varying stages throughout the sales lifecycle. Acting as the central point of stakeholder engagement, your ability to communicate, prioritise and build strong working relationships will be critical to ensuring projects remain on schedule and customers receive an exceptional experience.
- Coordinate truck stock movements from initial order through to customer delivery;
- Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate sales administration throughout the vehicle lifecycle;
- Liaise daily with Sales Consultants, the Pre-Delivery Team and approximately 20 external body building companies regarding vehicle customisation and production schedules;
- Monitor production milestones,
proactively following up suppliers and stakeholders to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved;
- Coordinate vehicle registrations, maintain inventory records and prepare customer delivery documentation;
- Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders throughout each stage of the sales process;
- Build strong relationships across multiple departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery;
- Manage numerous vehicle orders simultaneously, with projects ranging from one week through to nine months; and
- Ensure exceptional customer service, accuracy and attention to detail across every stage of the delivery process.
What you need to succeed
- Previous experience within the truck, heavy vehicle, commercial vehicle or broader automotive industry will be highly regarded, ideally as a Stock Controller, Sales Coordinator, Despatch Coordinator, Vehicle Coordinator or similar;
- Alternatively, experience within a highly coordinated administration or project support environment where you've managed multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines;
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate confidently across sales teams, operational departments, suppliers and customers;
- Experience raising purchase orders,
coordinating suppliers or managing projects through varying delivery stages;
- Excellent organisational skills, coordination capabilities, together with a proactive approach to problem solving;
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to build a long-term career.
