Nurselink Healthcare Pty Ltd is seeking a Finance Officer to join our growing team on a part-time basis. Based in Melton VIC 3337, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our healthcare organisation. As Finance Officer, you will provide essential support to our finance function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with accounting standards. This position offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst contributing meaningfully to a healthcare provider committed to delivering quality care services.

What you'll be doing

- Processing and reconciling financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow
- Supporting the finance team with data entry, filing and administrative tasks
- Completing payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Liaising with external stakeholders including suppliers, creditors and financial institutions
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to month-end and year-end closing processes

What we're looking for

- Certificate III or IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Clerk or similar finance role
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel




- Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial data
- Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Knowledge of healthcare accounting practices would be advantageous
- Current working with Children Check (WWC) or willingness to obtain one
