About the role
Fredon Air is looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Heatherton team. Work on exciting projects, learn from experienced engineers, and make a real impact from day one.
This is a full-time role that will provide you with the opportunity to apply your mechanical engineering knowledge and skills to contribute to the success of our growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
Assist in the design, development and testing of innovative mechanical systems and products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex engineering challenges.
Conduct research, perform analyses and prepare technical reports and presentations.
Support the implementation and maintenance of engineering processes and procedures.
Stay informed of industry trends and advancements to improve our engineering capabilities continuously.
What we're looking for
A recently completed bachelor's degree, or near completion, in Mechanical Engineering
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as CAD, simulation and analysis software
Eager to learn, grow, and stay on top of industry developments
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
A willingness to learn and develop technical skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
