Overview

We're on the lookout for an experienced and driven Estimator to join our growing team! If you enjoy building robust client relationships, solving problems, and bringing projects to life from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering accurate and competitive estimates, managing costs from initial pricing through to final accounts, and helping ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the high standard we're known for.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for a wide range of projects.
- Review and analysing construction documents, such as plans and specifications, to understand the scope of work and identify potential cost drivers.




- Attend tender interviews and represent the company during the procurement stage.
- Maintaining and updating the company’s cost database and benchmark information.
- Conduct cost analysis, risk management, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with contractors to receive pricing for relevant scope ensuring we have coverage.
- Monitor and report on project costs, providing detailed updates to the project team and stakeholders.
- Assess and value variations and claims, ensuring they are aligned with contractual obligations.
- Provide post-project cost analysis and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Tertiary qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
- Relevant experience with minimum three years’ local experience
- High level computer skills and numeracy including the following programs: CostX, EstimateOne or equivalent, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Word
- Tender writing experience ( preferable not mandatory)
