Based at our Rutherford Depot, this role is responsible for supervising workshop operations and supporting the maintenance and repair of our heavy vehicle fleet. Working an afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, you will lead workshop staff, coordinate maintenance activities and help ensure fleet availability, safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day workshop operations
- Coordinate servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance activities
- Assist with fault diagnosis and vehicle breakdown management
- Monitor workshop productivity and maintenance schedulesEnsure maintenance records and documentation are completed accurately
- Promote and maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Support, coach and mentor workshop employees and apprentices
- Liaise with operations, suppliers and contractors to minimise fleet downtime

About You

- Future prospect to advance into a management role




- Previous experience in a Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar role
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair practices
- Sound understanding of WHS and NHVR requirements
- HR driver's licence preferred
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team environment
