As a Laser Operator at Pipe-Weld, you will be responsible for operating an advanced and enclosed laser cutting machine to produce high-quality components for our manufacturing clients. This full-time role is based in Prestons, NSW and will see you working as part of a dynamic team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain a 6KW enclosed laser cutting machine to produce components to tight tolerances and specifications

Set up machinery, load materials, and monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency

Perform basic maintenance

Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to understand part requirements

Identify and resolve any operational issues or machine malfunctions in a timely manner

Maintain quality standards, accurate production records and adhere to WHS procedures.

Collaborate with the manufacturing team to coordinate workflows and meet deadlines

Hours of work

6am to 2pm Monday to Friday, overtime opportunities available.

Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment

Ability to use basic CAD software

Ability to work independently

Excellent attention to detail and quality focus

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Forklift licence and white card required
