EWS Recruitment, experts in trade and labour hire, are on the lookout for reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers to join our client on exciting and ongoing projects across all suburbs of Melbourne.

If you’re physically fit, have a reliable car and want consistent work, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working outdoors, this could be the role for you! Looking for staff who can start ASAP, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Preparing construction sites by clearing land and setting up work areas.
- Digging trenches and excavations using hand tools or machinery.
- Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople such as concreters, carpenters, steel fixers, and machine operators.
- Mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- Laying pipes for water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Assisting with the installation conduits, kerbs, gutters, paving, and drainage.
- Compacting crushed rock and preparing foundations.




- Operating small equipment such as jackhammers, compactors, concrete saws, and power tools.
- Cleaning and maintaining the worksite.

What We’re Looking For:

- Labouring experience of at least 1 year
- Reliability and flexibility
- Good attitude, ability to follow instructions & willing to take direction
- Present well as representing EWS & our client
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Physically fit with solid manual handling skills
- A White Card (essential)
