Facility management company is seeking a self-motivated, friendly, and professional Senior Concierge to join our team at a high-rise residential property in Melbourne's CBD.
As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, the ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a high standard of personal presentation. This is a Full-time role, working closely with the Building Management team to provide front-of-house support and ensure a welcoming, well-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all residents and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Maintain the presentation of the lobby and entry areas
- Manage the concierge team and provide ongoing training and support
- Coordinate and manage staff rosters
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Respond to resident inquiries and building issues (in person, via phone, or email)
- Manage parcel and delivery distribution
- Maintain logs for maintenance, keys, access, and other registers
- Administer access control systems (including swipe cards)
- Perform basic security checks and monitor CCTV
- Book common areas such as lifts and function rooms via BuildingLink or similar systems
- Assist with waste management and minor maintenance tasks (e.g. light replacement)
- Coordinate move-ins/outs and liaise with residents
- Support the Owners Corporation Manager and report building issues to the Building Manager
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a concierge or front desk role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Competency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office)
- Qualified appearance and demeanour
- Reliable, proactive, and a collaborative team player
Full-time, Monday to Friday (morning or afternoon shifts)
Availability on weekends and public holidays as required
