Job Description

We are currently seeking passionateOccupational Therapist professionals to join the IPAR team atPort Macquarie NSW . This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the support of our experienced, multidisciplinary team.

As aRehabilitation Consultant at IPAR, you will have exposure to a wide range of schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans’ Affairs and employer-funded programs. You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a variety of physical and psychological conditions, helping them achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes. No two days are the same, and your work will make a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a manageable caseload with support fromRehabilitation Assistants
- Apply your clinical expertise to improvereturn-to-work outcomes
- Partner with employers and employees to deliverinjury prevention and workplace education programs
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals
- Conduct a range of clinical and vocational assessments, including:
- Initial assessments
- Workplace assessments
- Functional capacity assessments

- Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work

Qualifications

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate professional who brings:

- Tertiary qualifications inOccupational Therapy;
- Generalregistration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA );
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes
- Empathy, resilience, and a client‑centred approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)
- Acurrent NSW Driver’s Licence and access to acomprehensively insured vehicle
