Marketing Executive

Sydney | Full-Time, Permanent | Office-Based

Deliver Integrated Marketing Across Premium Food, Retail and Hospitality Brands

We are an established Australian food retailer, hospitality group and wholesaler, operating across premium retail, ecommerce, restaurants, food production and wholesale markets.

We are seeking a commercially minded and highly organised Marketing Executive to coordinate integrated campaigns, product launches and day-to-day marketing activity across our portfolio of premium brands.

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who can manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, consistently and on time across digital and physical channels.

This position is based at our Sydney office. Office attendance is non-negotiable, and there is no work-from-home or hybrid arrangement available.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across wholesale, ecommerce, retail and hospitality environments.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, designers, operational teams, agencies, suppliers and external partners to coordinate campaign activity and maintain high standards across every customer touchpoint.

You will also provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to the Social Media Specialist, ensuring social content aligns with campaign priorities, brand positioning and commercial objectives.

This role combines campaign management, brand execution, ecommerce, email marketing, website content, stakeholder coordination, reporting and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning and Execution

- Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and product launches

- Coordinate campaign activity across retail, ecommerce, social media, email and hospitality channels

- Maintain the marketing calendar and track key dates, dependencies and deliverables

- Manage timelines, approvals, asset distribution and internal communications

- Ensure campaigns launch accurately, consistently and on schedule

- Respond to tactical marketing requests and coordinate implementation across relevant channels

- Support events, partnerships, activations and business launches

Brand and Creative Execution

- Protect the positioning, tone of voice and presentation standards of each brand

- Coordinate marketing activity across multiple brands while maintaining their distinct identities

- Work closely with the Group Graphic Designer on campaign collateral and asset requirements

- Review marketing materials for accuracy, consistency and quality

- Coordinate feedback and approvals between internal stakeholders and creative partners

- Liaise with agencies, printers, suppliers and other external partners

- Ensure all communications reflect current and accurate product, promotional and business information

Social Media Oversight

- Provide guidance, priorities and strategic direction to the Social Media Specialist

- Review and approve content calendars, captions and campaign storytelling

- Ensure social media activity supports campaigns, launches and commercial initiatives

- Monitor social performance insights and identify opportunities for improvement

- Mentor the Social Media Specialist and support their continued development

Ecommerce, Website and Digital Marketing

- Support ecommerce campaign execution, including Shopify product updates, collections and promotional preparation

- Maintain website and CMS content across multiple brands

- Coordinate updates to products, banners, landing pages, FAQs and campaign content





- Ensure website and ecommerce updates are completed accurately and on time

- Create and schedule email campaigns across relevant customer databases

- Support database growth initiatives through retail, digital, event and lead-generation activity

- Work with loyalty and customer review platforms to support promotions and customer engagement

- Liaise with digital agencies regarding email marketing, paid advertising and digital assets

- Ensure external digital activity aligns with brand, design and campaign objectives

Seasonal Campaigns

- Coordinate major seasonal campaigns, including Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day and other key trading periods

- Work with the Group Marketing Manager to develop seasonal campaign plans and priorities

- Gather campaign inputs from retail, hospitality, ecommerce, foodservice and operational teams

- Manage seasonal timelines, briefs, assets, approvals and rollout requirements

- Ensure key milestones and responsibilities are clearly communicated

- Support post-campaign reviews and document learnings for future planning cycles

Stakeholder and Agency Coordination

- Act as a central point of contact between internal teams and external marketing partners

- Coordinate with retail, operations, ecommerce, foodservice, creative and digital stakeholders

- Secure campaign information, assets, promotional details and approvals within required timelines

- Streamline feedback between agencies and internal decision-makers

- Identify delays, missing inputs or conflicting priorities before they affect delivery

- Maintain clear and accurate communication across campaign stakeholders

Reporting and Performance Insights

- Assist with the preparation of campaign performance reports

- Consolidate retail, ecommerce, email, social and digital results

- Identify key outcomes, customer trends and improvement opportunities

- Ensure major campaign reports are completed within required timelines

- Use performance insights to strengthen future campaign planning and execution

Process Improvement

- Develop templates, checklists, briefs and repeatable processes for recurring campaigns

- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements

- Improve campaign predictability and reduce unnecessary last-minute activity

- Identify opportunities to reuse content, automate repeatable tasks and simplify approvals

- Maintain organised marketing systems, documentation and shared resources

- Contribute ideas that improve creative execution, team efficiency and commercial outcomes

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be measured against clear performance expectations, including:

- Campaigns launched on time across all planned channels

- Marketing content delivered accurately and consistently with each brand’s positioning

- Weekly ecommerce and website updates completed without errors

- Year-on-year growth in digital engagement and customer databases

- Major campaign reports completed within 15 business days

- Seasonal campaign milestones, approvals and rollouts delivered on schedule

- Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners

- Clear direction and effective support provided to the Social Media Specialist





- Improved campaign processes and reduced last-minute execution issues

About You

You are an organised and commercially aware marketer who combines strong creative judgement with disciplined execution.

You are comfortable managing multiple campaigns, coordinating different stakeholders and taking responsibility for deadlines and outcomes.

You understand that strong marketing requires more than creative ideas. It requires accurate information, detailed planning, effective communication and consistent execution across every channel.

You are proactive, accountable and willing to step into the detail to ensure work is completed properly.

Essential Experience and Skills

- At least three years of experience in marketing, communications or campaign management

- Demonstrated experience coordinating end-to-end campaigns across multiple channels

- Robust written communication and copywriting skills

- Experience writing content for email, social media, websites and physical marketing materials

- Strong understanding of brand positioning and tone of voice

- Experience using Shopify, Klaviyo, Square or comparable platforms

- Experience maintaining websites, ecommerce content or CMS platforms

- Ability to coordinate internal departments, agencies and external suppliers

- Strong campaign planning and project coordination capabilities

- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Confidence reviewing performance data and campaign results

- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach

Desirable Experience

- Experience within food, retail, hospitality, ecommerce or consumer brands

- Formal qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline

- Experience with loyalty, customer review or database marketing platforms

- Knowledge of paid media strategy and performance reporting

- Experience working with designers and creative teams

- Basic graphic design or content production skills

- Experience mentoring or guiding junior marketing team members

Important Work Location Requirement

This is an office-based and operationally connected position.

You will be required to work from our Sydney office and attend relevant retail, hospitality, production and business locations when campaigns, events or operational activity require it.

Office attendance is non-negotiable. This position does not offer working from home or a hybrid working arrangement.

Performance and Development

The successful candidate will participate in:

- Monthly performance check-ins with the Group Marketing Manager

- Quarterly KPI scorecard reviews

- Ongoing feedback, coaching and professional development

- Clear accountability for campaign delivery, accuracy, brand alignment and stakeholder coordination

High performance is expected. Where outcomes fall below expectations, timely feedback, support and corrective action will be provided.
