Harmony Auto is a fast-growing automotive group representing leading EV brands including BYD and DENZA. As our business continues to expand, we are currently looking for a hands-on Automotive Accessory Fitter to join our warehouse team based in Clayton.

This role focuses on installing vehicle accessories and preparing vehicles for delivery to our dealerships. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to grow within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Install a wide range of genuine and aftermarket vehicle accessories, including tow bars, roof racks, dash cameras, reverse cameras, electric brake controllers, side steps, floor mats, canopies, lighting systems, number plates and other vehicle accessories.

- Perform accessory installations in accordance with manufacturer specifications, installation manuals and company quality standards.

- Read and interpret installation instructions, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

- Conduct post-installation testing and quality inspections to ensure all accessories are installed and functioning correctly.

- Diagnose and resolve installation-related mechanical and basic electrical issues where required.

- Maintain workshop tools, equipment and a safe, clean and organised work environment.

- Work closely with the workshop,



logistics and delivery teams to ensure vehicles are completed on time and to a high standard.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as an Automotive Accessories Fitter, Vehicle Accessory Installer or similar role is essential.

- Demonstrated experience installing a variety of vehicle accessories, including tow bars, roof racks, dash cameras, reverse cameras, electric brake controllers, lighting systems and other aftermarket accessories.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently and efficiently.

- Experience with automotive accessory wiring and basic auto-electrical work is highly regarded.

- Ability to read and interpret installation manuals, wiring diagrams and technical instructions.

- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet delivery deadlines.

- Valid Australian Driver Licence.

Nice to Have (Highly Regarded)

- Experience working on BYD or other electric vehicles (EVs).

- Trade qualification in Automotive, Auto Electrical, Mechanical or a related field (preferred but not essential).
