BPA Early Learning operates 34 kindergartens and long day care centres across western Melbourne, supporting children and families in some of the region’s most diverse communities.
We are looking for a passionate cook to join our long day care centre at Delahey, who enjoy presentation of food and nutritious meals that make a difference in Children’s lives. Be a part of Children wellbeing by preparing fresh, delicious meals in a secure and welcoming environment.
We’d love to hear from you:
Ability to cater for dietary needs, medical conditions and follow high standards of food safety.
Develop seasonal menus aligned with Nutrition Australian guidelines.
Order food supplies and managing stock levels.
Work collaboratively with educators to support healthy eating practices and special centre events.
Maintain accurate kitchen records, including leaning schedules, food temperatures and allergy management documentation.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Level 2)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
Current Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Full working rights in Australia.
Experience working in a childcare, kindergarten, School, hospitality or aged care setting
Understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
