JCH Equipment P/L is seeking a MC Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis working 3 - 4 days per week. This is an opportunity for an experienced truck driver to work flexibly with a well-established transport and logistics company. Based in Bendigo, VIC, you will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting goods across various routes. This casual position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to contribute to our growing business in the road transport sector.

Key responsibilities

As an MC Truck Driver, your key duties will include:

- Operating MC trucks safely and in compliance with all road transport regulations
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is mechanically sound and safe to operate
- Loading and unloading freight in accordance with safety standards and load management guidelines
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation as required by legislation and company policy
- Communicating with management and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
- Adhering to all traffic laws, speed restrictions and fatigue management regulations
- Maintaining a qualified appearance and conducting yourself professionally with customers and colleagues

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you will need:





- A valid MC Class Driver Licence (mandatory requirement)
- Proven experience driving MC trucks in commercial transport operations
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, fatigue management laws and traffic legislation
- Vehicle maintenance awareness and ability to conduct routine inspections
- Clear communication skills and a courteous manner with customers and team members
- Commitment to safety as the highest priority, with a strong safety record
