High Voltage Electrician (7/7 Rotating Roster) | Bowen Basin

Join one of Central Queensland's growing mining electrical contractors.

HS Maintenance is looking for an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team on a 7/7 rotating roster across Bowen Basin mine sites.

If you've worked on electric haul trucks, draglines, electric rope shovels or other heavy mining plant , we want to hear from you.

About the Role

Working across leading open-cut coal operations, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, breakdowns and shutdown work on some of the industry's largest electrical mining equipment.

This is a long-term prospect with consistent work, excellent conditions and a company that genuinely values its people.

Essential Experience

- Experience maintaining and fault-finding on electric mining equipment

- Experience working on Electric Haul Trucks

- Experience working on Draglines

- Experience with Electric Rope Shovels (highly regarded)

- HV maintenance and fault finding experience

- Strong understanding of mine site safety systems and procedures

Minimum Requirements




- Current Queensland Electrical Licence

- High Voltage qualifications and experience

- Standard 11

- Current Coal Board Medical

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Ability to work safely within a high-performing maintenance team
