About us:

The Cassowary Area Mental Health Service (CAMHS), provides comprehensive mental health care across a diverse region of Tropical North Queensland, from Fishery Falls in the north to Bilyana in the south, and west to Palmerston.

CAMHS delivers a broad range of community-based mental health services, including intake and triage, assessment, case management, treatment interventions, and specialist consultation, with a strong focus on recovery, wellbeing, and health promotion. Supporting consumers across all stages of life, the service is delivered by a skilled multidisciplinary team comprising mental health nurses, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and Indigenous Mental Health Workers.

About your role:

In this position you will…..

- Provide a collaborative case management service,



intake and referral role and acute care service to adults with identified mental health problems.
- Participate in clinical assessments, counselling and therapy in accordance with recognised principles of discipline specific practice and in conjunction with other members of the team.
- Provide high level clinical and professional leadership, and work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of mental health services.
