About the role/duties
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality carpentry across architecturally designed new builds and luxury renovations
- Read and interpret architectural drawings to ensure exceptional workmanship throughout every stage of construction
- Complete structural, framing, lock-up and detailed finishing carpentry to the highest standard
- Work closely with Site Supervisors, subcontractors and project teams to ensure projects remain on programme
- Assist with material coordination, quality control and site organisation
- Uphold exceptional standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism on every project
- Mentor apprentices and junior carpenters where required while leading by example
- Take pride in delivering premium homes with an uncompromising attention to detail
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Carpenter with proven experience delivering architecturally designed high-end residential projects
- Previous experience working on bespoke homes valued up to $10M highly regarded
- Exceptional carpentry skills with a genuine passion for quality craftsmanship
- Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies and sequencing
- Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in producing work of the highest standard
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality over speed
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a qualified team
