Bonmoamapharm Pty Ltd & Moama RX Pty Limited Moama Village Pharmacy is seeking a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to provide skilled pharmacy services and high-quality patient care within a community pharmacy setting. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, providing medication counselling, administering pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and supporting customers with their healthcare needs. Assess prescriptions to ensure clinical suitability, including evaluating dosages, potential drug interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic appropriateness. Provide patients with expert advice and counselling on the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications. Recommend suitable over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products based on individual customer needs.

Deliver accredited pharmacy services, including vaccinations, MedsChecks, and other clinical healthcare programs where qualified. Manage Schedule 8 and other controlled substances in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate dispensing records, patient profiles, and medication histories to support continuity of care.

Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient health outcomes. Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy assistants, interns, and support staff to ensure high standards of practice and customer service. Assist in inventory control activities, including stock ordering, stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of expiry dates.





Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and professional requirements, including AHPRA, Pharmacy Board of Australia standards, PBS guidelines, WHS obligations, privacy legislation, and internal pharmacy policies. Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Qualification & experience Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy (or an equivalent qualification recognised in Australia).

Current general registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA). Sound knowledge of Australian pharmacy practice, professional standards, and relevant legislation. Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based patient care.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professional judgement. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in community pharmacy is highly desirable. Experience delivering professional pharmacy services and supporting the efficient operation of a community pharmacy.
