We are seeking an experiencedQuality Inspectorwith a minimum of5 years of construction site experienceto ensure that all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting workmanship, materials, and methods to ensure compliance with project quality requirements and regulatory standards.This role will require domestic travel to all our sites as determined by the business.

Key Skills
Quality Inspection & Assurance
- Conduct regular inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved material submittals and specifications.
- Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs) and verify corrective and preventive actions.
- Finalise any travelled work from our manufacturing sites and complete Inspection and Test Reports (ITR’s)
- Liaise with our manufacturing sites quality teams and construction site client Quality teams
- Lead resolution of NCRs, RCAs, and CARs, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
- Investigate any customer complaints and prepare corrective actions plans to mitigate customer issues
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, test reports,
and quality documentation.
- Prepare inspection reports and daily quality logs.
- Assist in the compilation of handover and as‑built documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and the QA/QC team to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in pre‑inspection meetings, toolbox talks, and quality briefings.
- Liaise with consultants and clients during inspections and witness points.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to the Project Team for quality-related activities
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to applicable construction standards, codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor implementation of approved quality procedures and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, where applicable).
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma or Degree inCivil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experienceas a Quality Inspector or QA/QC role on construction sites.
- Proven experience working on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement equipment, and testing methods.
- Ability to identify defects and workmanship issues.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Positive understanding of quality control processes and construction standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
- Certified QA/QC Inspector
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System training
