About Us
Australian Sustainable Dairies (ASD Group) are building the future of dairy in Australia, delivering high‑quality, award‑winning organic yoghurt, milk and cheese across our market‑leading brands Barambah Organics and five:am Organic.
As Australia’s largest fresh organic dairy producer, we are experiencing sustained growth. Our success is underpinned by disciplined operational execution, strong systems, and people who take ownership of outcomes — not just activities. We value accountability, collaboration, and practical problem‑solving in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead warehouse and logistics operations at our Carrum Downs site and across multiple third‑party logistics (3PL) partners.
This role requires a strong balance of operational oversight, system accuracy, and on‑floor leadership. While hands‑on capability is important, the initial and ongoing focus of the role will be on ensuring accurate and timely warehouse transactions, smooth end‑to‑end supply chain flow, and minimal downstream impact to Finance.
This is a fast‑paced operational environment where products have short shelf lives and customer service depends on rapid, accurate execution. We are looking for a leader who thrives on urgency, can make sound decisions quickly, keeps the warehouse moving, and ensures product is received, picked and dispatched without unnecessary delays. If you enjoy high‑energy operations, this is the role for you.
You will play a key role in ensuring warehousing activity, inventory movements, and logistics execution are correctly reflected in our ERP, supporting reliable planning, reporting, and financial outcomes. This role suits someone who understands that effective warehouse performance depends as much on process discipline and data integrity as it does on physical execution.
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (flexibility required during peak periods)
Forklift licence: Required to support operations when needed
What Success Looks Like
- Accurate and timely closure of warehouse and logistics transactions
- Warehouse operations consistently support rapid product turnaround, minimising dwell time and ensuring fresh product reaches customers quickly.
- Strong alignment between physical stock movements and ERP records
- High levels of inventory accuracy across internal and 3PL warehouses
- Improved Delivery in Full (DIF) performance driven by process discipline
- Reduced supply chain disruption caused by delayed or incorrect system updates
- Minimal finance reconciliation issues linked to inventory or order integrity
- Controlled warehousing and logistics costs within agreed budgets
Key Responsibilities
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of warehouse transactions, including order closure, inventory adjustments, write‑offs, and reconciliations
- Drive a high‑performance warehouse culture that prioritises speed, accuracy and service without compromising safety or quality.
- Ensure rapid turnaround of inbound product to outbound dispatch, particularly for short shelf‑life dairy products.
- Ensure all receipting, dispatch, and stock movements are accurately reflected in ERP systems
- Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, balancing system oversight with hands‑on involvement when it adds genuine operational value
- Manage cycle counts, stocktakes, variance investigation, and root‑cause analysis
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including ASN compliance, pallet transfers, PODs and POPs
- Monitor logistics and warehouse KPIs, including DIF and inventory accuracy, and implement sustainable improvements
- Manage and coordinate inventory performance across 3PL warehouse partners, including ad‑hoc checks and issue escalation
- Act as a key operational link between Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring accurate information flow
- Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team against clear standards, processes, and expectations
About You
You are an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager who thrives in fast‑paced FMCG environments where urgency matters. You understand that when products have a short shelf life, every delay impacts customers, inventory and business performance. You balance speed with accuracy, making confident decisions while maintaining strong process discipline and system integrity.
You bring:
- Experience managing warehouse operations through ERP systems, with strong attention to transaction integrity
- The ability to lead with urgency in a high‑volume warehouse where priorities can change quickly and rapid product turnaround is essential.
- Comfort owning order closure, stock adjustments, write‑offs, and reconciliation activities
- A clear understanding of how warehouse execution and data accuracy impact supply chain continuity and financial outcomes
- The judgement to know when hands‑on involvement improves outcomes — and when system oversight is more critical
- Experience in FMCG environments, involving chilled or short shelf‑life products
- A calm, practical leadership style focused on process, consistency, and results
You are comfortable spending time desk‑based where required to ensure accuracy and control, while remaining engaged and visible to the operation when conditions demand it.
Skills & Experience
- Proven success managing warehouse and logistics operations within a high‑volume, fast‑paced FMCG environment, ideally involving chilled or short shelf‑life products.

- Solid ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics Business Central highly regarded
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- Demonstrated experience managing inventory adjustments and system reconciliations
- Solid understanding of inbound and outbound logistics processes
- Current forklift licence
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving capability
- Transparent and effective communication skills

- Close collaboration within Supply Chain and Finance teams
- The opportunity to stabilise, improve, and scale warehousing and logistics operations
